Vanta Jets is a broker, not an airline

Vanta Jets arranges private charter flights as an air charter broker. We are not a direct air carrier. We do not own, operate, lease or crew aircraft, and we hold no operating certificate of our own.

Every flight arranged through Vanta Jets is operated by a licensed direct air carrier. That carrier, not Vanta Jets, holds operational control of the flight. Operational control means the carrier makes the decisions that govern it: whether the aircraft is airworthy, which crew fly it, whether the weather allows departure, and whether a flight goes, waits or is cancelled. Those decisions are theirs alone, and neither Vanta Jets nor a client can overrule them.

What we do

We act as your agent in arranging a charter. We take your itinerary, source aircraft from operators, present you with options, and handle the booking and the paperwork between you and the carrier that flies you.

What you are told before you pay

Before you are asked for any payment for a specific trip, we disclose in writing:

• the name of the direct air carrier that will operate the flight;
• the total cost of the flight, including the fees and charges that make it up;
• that Vanta Jets is acting as a broker and is not the operator;
• any corporate or ownership relationship between Vanta Jets and the operating carrier, where one exists.

How carriers are selected

We arrange flights with carriers that hold the certification required for the trip and that meet our own standards for safety record, aircraft and operational history. Selecting a carrier is not the same as operating a flight: the carrier remains responsible for the conduct and safety of the flight, and our diligence does not transfer that responsibility to us.

Quotes, availability and price

A quote is an offer to arrange a charter on the terms stated in it, and it is subject to aircraft availability and to the operating carrier accepting the trip. Private charter inventory moves quickly, so a quoted aircraft can be taken by another client before a booking is confirmed. Price and availability are not held until a trip is confirmed in writing.

Your contract for the flight

Chartering an aircraft through us creates obligations between you and the operating carrier as well as between you and Vanta Jets. The carrier’s own conditions of carriage apply to the flight itself. We will tell you who the carrier is, and their terms are available to you before you commit.
